Roo & You

Field Trips

Zoo Overnights
An overnight of your WILDest dreams! This group experience is available for any herd, crash, or flock of adventurous and animal loving guests wanting a dream-like, ultimate zoo experience. Overnight programs include a Zootalk, an after-hours flashlight tour of the zoo, a take-home craft, evening snack, breakfast, and a Group Behind the Scenes tour. Guests will sleep under the stars in the zoo’s Education Grove.
Zoo Talks
Experience a lively encounter in your classroom, at your facility, or at the Zoo with our Zoo education team! We can tailor our presentations on ANY natural history topic.
Docent Led Tours
A 1-hour, standards-based tour of the Zoo! Docent Led tours are NGSS aligned by grade level, and can be customized based on your class needs. Available for grades K-College.
Cost Information
- $270 per class for inside Fresno County
- $300 per class for outside Fresno County
Career Labs
What does it take to work at the Zoo? We need more than zookeepers to keep our animals healthy! This program provides hands on career exploration followed by a self-led career scavenger hunt throughout the Zoo. Available for grades 3 through high school.

Zoo Quest
Our new program will take you on a zoo adventure with an animal presentation, a career-based activity, and a self-led scavenger hunt throughout the Zoo! Available for grades Kindergarten-6th.

Group
Behind-the-Scenes Tour
Want to dive deeper with your students? A Group Behind the Scenes tour will take you to up to 3 Behind the Scenes locations and learn about the husbandry of our animals. Available for grades 4 and above.
