Summer Zoo Camp Details are tentative and pending the Zoo's opening

Thank you for your interest in ZooCamp!

At this time, we are still working on confirming the details and dates for re-opening the Zoo. Once we have approval and guidance from local leaders to open, we will also be evaluating when we can resume all of our programs, including ZooCamp.

We want to make sure that when we welcome campers back to ZooCamp, that we are doing so in a way that keeps staff, guests and campers healthy. Our staff is working hard to make these plans. We will not be running the first 4 weeks of camp and will be reevaluating the rest of our summer plans as more information becomes available. We hope this will give our staff adequate time to prepare for campers, providing a fun and education experience while also making health and safety a top priority.

Dear Camp Families,

We are currently planning for our 2020 camp season and registration is now open.  While the zoo is currently closed, we are planning ahead and hope to be fully operational for the beginning of our camp season.  Should that plan change, we want our families to know we are relaxing our refund and exchange policy to allow for you to make whatever choice is best for your family during this ever-changing time. My staff and I are working diligently to incorporate any necessary changes to our safety protocols, and we may be adding additional daily questions about your camper’s health to our check-in process.  We will update you as we know more of what processes will be required.  In the meantime, do not hesitate to contact us with any questions at education@fresnochaffeezoo.org for questions.

We are honored that you choose the Zoo as one of your child’s summer activities and we can’t wait to welcome the campers back for a summer full of animal encounters, activities, crafts and games.

Please tell your campers that I honestly can’t wait to sing Baby Shark with them very soon and I’m spending this time working on my new dance moves for Dance Party Friday.

Take care,

Ms. Liz
