Fresno Chaffee Zoo is located in Fresno's Roeding Park, just east of Hwy 99, between Belmont and Olive Avenues.

From the North:
From Hwy 99 going south, take the Olive Avenue exit
Turn left (east) on Olive and travel about two blocks to the Roeding Park entrance
Turn right (south) into the park and keep to the right, passing the tollbooth and playground
The road will wind through the park to the Zoo entrance

From the South:
From Hwy 99 going north, take the Belmont Avenue exit
Turn right (east) on Belmont and drive to the first stoplight
Turn left (north) at the stoplight into Roeding Park
After you pass the tollbooth, follow the road around the perimeter of the Zoo, keeping to the left, to the Zoo entrance

The City of Fresno charges a $5.00 per car fee to enter Roeding Park.

Taking the Bus (Fresno Area Express):
Fresno Area Express Route 33 operates bus service to the front entrance of Fresno Chaffee Zoo. Route 33 operates weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays along Olive and Belmont Avenues. From AMTRAK, take Route 22 northbound from the Amtrak station. Get off on San Pablo and take Route 33 westbound to the Zoo on Belmont Avenue. The Route 22 bus northbound is on the opposite side of the street from Amtrak.
